Sunday Services
“Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
(Heb 10:25)
Our Sunday service starts at 10am.
The program varies, but it generally begins with a welcome and a prayer followed by a time of singing. Our service leader then gives some notices. At this point, depending on the week, we might have communion, “mission spot”, a personal testimony or a children’s talk. The finale of the service consists of a Bible reading and a 30-35 minute sermon. These often follow a series, where week by week we work our way through a whole book of the Bible, chapter by chapter, drawing application that is Jesus-centred, relevant and meaningful to our modern lives. Our emphasis is on teaching the whole of the Bible so that we, God’s people, are being built up, consistently over time,
by God’s Word.
“You … like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”
(1 Pet 2:5)
